A Joint Surveillance Voluntary Assessment is under the authority of the DOD’s Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center (DIBCAC). DIBCAC will be performing a DFARS 252.204-7020 High Confidence Assessment (as defined in DFARS 252.204-7020) along with Sentar’s trained, certified CMMC assessors, who will participate and observe. At the completion of the JSV assessment, your organization will be recognized as successfully completing the DIBCAC High Confidence Assessment. Once the formal rule changes related to DFARS 252.204-7012/7019/7020/7021 are finalized and published, Sentar’s status, along with every other accredited C3PAO, will convert to an Authorized C3PAO and can then award your organization a CMMC LV2 Certificate. That Certificate will be valid for three years from that date. The DIBCAC JSV Program will also cease to exist at that time.
