NIWC Atlantic DHIT Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program Office (PO) Support
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) has been undergoing significant enterprise changes, requiring new approaches to accomplish Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities. Each medical enterprise system offers distinct capabilities, involving an in-depth RMF evaluation while pursuing an Authorization to Operate (ATO) on the enterprise network. Sentar’s collaboration with NIWC Atlantic, Enterprise RM Program Office Support, innovates processes to capture risk data, create shared artifacts, and build custom security plans using automation for over 140 unique system enclaves. The ERM PO Support Team created mechanisms to accelerate ATO periods for enclaves and medical devices alike while also delivering services compliant within DoD RMF constraints. This Team’s achievements differentiate them as a catalyst for continuous Enterprise Risk Management.
NIWC Atlantic DHIT Joint Operational Medical Information System (JOMIS) Risk Management Support
The Joint Operational Medical Information System (JOMIS) RMF Support Team consistently innovates processes to meet the increasing demand of rapid acquisition and securely provisioned systems. NIWC Atlantic’s DHIT JOMIS Risk Management Support Team has developed a pathway to combine both acquisition and authorization processes into a flexible and comprehensive agile approach that allows for development and accreditation of systems within constrained timelines. The JOMIS RM Team’s innovative process adapts the DoD Risk Management Framework to a fast-paced operations environment while simultaneously targeting software development to deployment initiatives.
