Sentar Ranked 5th Best Place to Work in South Carolina


Sentar recognized as a top employer in South Carolina for third consecutive year

Charleston, SC – August 6, 2018 – Sentar, Inc. (Sentar), a Women-Owned Small Business specializing in Cybersecurity services and technology, announced today that it has again been named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina in the small/medium employer category for the third consecutive year, ranking in the no. 5 spot for the last two years. This award honors the best employers in the state, identifying those that provide an exceptional employee experience and workplace. The program, now in its thirteenth year, was created by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.

Sentar was recognized during an awards dinner August 2nd at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. There to accept the award were Founder, Peter Kiss; Vice President, April Nadeau; Director Health Information Technology (HIT), Joseph Sabin, J.D., CISSP; and Recruiting and Project Manager, Nicky Shipp.

“We are excited to be recognized for the third time as a Best Places to Work in South Carolina,” said April Nadeau, Vice President of Navy, Marine Corp and Health IT operations based out of Sentar’s Charleston, SC office. “At Sentar, we strive for a culture of collaboration and open communication, where our employees and customers feel heard and valued. We are grateful for the contributions our employees make on a daily basis, receiving this award is both an honor and a validation of these efforts.”

The 2018 Best Places to Work competition is based on employer benefits and policies plus results from an in-depth employee survey that measures engagement and satisfaction. Open to all businesses, nonprofits, and government entities that have been in operation for at least one year and have at least 15 employees working in South Carolina, the competition is sponsored, in part, by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.
