Sentar Promotes Dan Lambert to Vice President

Dan Lambert promoted to Vice President of Land, Air, and Space division.

Huntsville, AL – May 7, 2019 – Sentar, Inc. (Sentar), a Women-Owned Small Business specializing in advanced Cybersecurity and Intelligence services and technology, announced today the promotion of Dan Lambert to the position of Vice President – Land, Air, Space. Lambert is currently Director of the Land, Air, and Space division and brings more than 25 years’ experience to his new position with Sentar. In his new role, Lambert will lead all direction and management of the company’s strategic growth efforts within the Army, Air Force, Missile Defense Agency, and NASA.

Under Mr. Lambert’s direction, Sentar has been awarded major contracts such as D3I D2, which resulted in the company’s first OCONUS Task Order in UAE, major Cybersecurity efforts with MDA as both Prime and Sub, along with Industrial Control Systems cybersecurity work on the Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR) site at Clear Air Force Station, Alaska. He also led the development efforts in multiple proposals for future work, resulting in several U.S. Army Corps of Engineers cybersecurity contracts.

Prior to joining Sentar, Dan served as Senior Manager of Missile Defense for Harris Corporation (Huntsville site), where he was the Program Manager and Business Developer for the multi-million dollar ID/IQ Test Execution Services and Launch Augmentation (TESLA) contract with the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC). Previous to Harris, Dan was Vice President of Operations for Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI), where he was recognized for winning the Missile Defense Data Center contract with the Missile Defense Agency, a $500M Small Business Set Aside. Positions earlier in his career include Director of Information Engineering with L-3 Communications (12 years) and as a Senior Systems Engineer at Marshall Space Flight Center while employed at Computer Science Corporation (CSC) (6 years).

In addition to his corporate responsibilities at Sentar, Mr. Lambert remains active amongst various professional organizations including Cyber Huntsville where he serves as Vice President of Workforce Development and Education, the Space and Missile Defense Working Group (SMDWG), and the Huntsville Association of Small Businesses in Advanced Technology (HASBAT). Mr. Lambert is also an adjunct professor with Calhoun Community College teaching business courses in his free time.

Dan proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
