Sentar Appointed as Fully Qualified Corporate Navy Validator

On May 6, 2015, Sentar received notification that it has successfully met all the requirements to be appointed as a Fully Qualified Corporate Navy Validator.

Fully Qualified Navy Validator Certificate

The Navy Validator role supports review and endorsement (validation) of Navy sponsored Certification and Accreditation packages prior to submission to the Navy’s Certification Authority (CA). The CA takes the validator’s recommendation, reviews, approves and routes to the DAA/AO (Authorizing Official) for formal accreditation decisions. Essentially, the title of Fully Qualified Corporate Navy Validator is given to an individual/organization who is well-versed in Navy-specific DIACAP (or more recently RMF) requirements. The validator works to ensure packages are up to par before staffing up the accreditation path and provides a key role in the Navy’s strategic goal of streamlining costs and reducing time required to receive CA approval.
