Sentar Executive Named to “FedHealthIT100” for Second Year in a Row

Huntsville, AL – November 27, 2018 – Sentar, Inc. (Sentar), a Women-Owned Small Business specializing in advanced Cybersecurity and Intelligence services and technology, announced today that for a second year in a row, April Nadeau, VP (Navy, Marine Corps and Health IT) has been named to the 2019 “FedHealthIT100” list by FedHealthIT Magazine.

The 2019 FedHealthIT100 Honors those individuals recognized for driving change and advancement in the Federal Health Information Technology market. Nominated and chosen by her peers for her contributions to the advancement of the Federal Health IT Market, April is receiving this recognition for her desire and willingness to challenge conventional wisdom, to go above and beyond to drive innovation, and to give back to the larger Federal Health IT and Consulting community.

As Sentar’s Vice President, Navy, Marine Corps and Health IT, April leads all SPAWAR, DHA, VA, and HealthIT programs for Sentar. In this capacity, she is responsible for managing multiple programs, people and processes, proving instrumental in the delivery and success the teams have achieved (e.g. 2018 FedHealthIT Innovation Award, ESGR “Above & Beyond” Award, 2017 SPAWAR SB of the Year). April remains active amongst various philanthropic organizations (Women in Defense; Palmetto Cyber Defense Challenge; Lean In; NDIA; AFCEA). As the Charleston Defense Contractor Association (CDCA) Small Business Chair, April facilitates networking and one-on-one meetings with Federal Healthcare leads/decision-makers, increasing the potential business base for contracting opportunities and fostering small business growth.
