Sentar Sr. Vice President elected to IWRP Consortium Executive Committee


April Nadeau has been elected to the Executive Committee of the inaugural Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium.

Huntsville, AL – May 16, 2019 – Sentar Inc. (Sentar), a Women-Owned Small Business specializing in advanced Cybersecurity and Intelligence services and technology, announced today that Senior Vice President April Nadeau has been elected to the inaugural Information Warfare Research Program (IWRP) Executive Committee.

The mission of the IWRP is to foster collaboration between Government, Industry and Academia to identify, develop and demonstrate the enabling technologies necessary to enhance the Navy and Marine Corps mission effectiveness in the field of Information Warfare. The intent is to leverage the flexible contracting platform known as other transaction authority (OTA) to rapidly develop and deploy technologies.

The IWRP OTA brings together academia, traditional and nontraditional contractors and research and development labs to provide new, innovative information warfare solutions. The Navy is seeking capabilities related to a wide range of information warfare topics, including cyber warfare, cloud computing, data science and analytic technologies, assured communications, enterprise resource tools, collaboration and social networking, autonomy, mobility, assured command and control, integrated fires, model-based systems engineering, on-demand manufacturing and embedded systems in the Internet of Things.

April and her Sentar team have a 29 year track record of warfighter-focused R&D positioned for mission systems integration, Cybersecurity, and IT support (operational & compliance). April has been instrumental in guiding proposal development efforts, R&D concept development, and contract execution leading multiple programs with direct, mission critical warfighter support within the Information Warfare arena.
