Cyber Intelligence Analyst
Locations:
Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC
Seeking a dedicated candidate to join our Team of information
security professionals as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst at a newly formed
Joint Component Command focused on Cyber.
The candidate will provide analytic support focusing on the cyber
domain, including new and emerging media, online social networking
tools, for the DoD computer network operations community. The candidate
will conduct comprehensive source analysis of state and non-state actor
use of technology and the Internet for command and control. The position
will also focus on providing an all-source intelligence picture of the
emerging information environment to Identify and analyze adversarial
threats to US and DoD interests. The candidate will leverage publicly
available information on the Internet, data mining, and Internet mapping
tools to prepare quality intelligence information environment products.
The candidate must be capable of producing high-quality papers,
presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government
intelligence officials and decision makers.
Qualifications Include:
- 5-10+ years of experience in the cyber security and NetOps
fields
- Strong technical and consulting skills with subject matter
expertise in one or more of the following specialties:
- Cyber Intelligence Analysis
- IP Networking
- Intrusion Detection
- Incident Response
- IT System Administration
- System Security Engineering
- Strong understanding of network protocols, network devices,
computer security devices, or system administration in support of
network and network security operations
- Effective working in teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
