Federal
Information Assurance Analyst
IA position supporting Federal risk assessment and
certification and accreditation projects. Provide guidance on security
technologies, threats, vulnerabilities, standards, and current best
practices to enhance the client’s security program. The candidate will
support System Owners and Managers by coordinating C&A activities
throughout the system lifecycle. Duties will include developing System
Security Plans, performing risk assessments, conducting self
assessments, training system administrators in the IT security process,
and evaluate information security controls. The successful applicant
will be part of Sentar’s IA services team providing security expertise
to US Federal and DoD programs.
Qualifications Include:

Strong
technical background in NIST or DoD information assurance
-
System certification and accreditation including:
Security plan development, security risk analysis and risk mitigation
reporting (i.e. POA&M), vulnerability analysis, and assessment
briefings to senior government personnel
-
Working
knowledge of NIST 800-37 and 800-39
-
Comprehensive understanding of 800-53 and 800-53A
-
Expertise
with the system development lifecycle
-
Familiarity with FISMA and OMB A-130
-
Working knowledge of Trusted Agent FISMA (TAF) or
Risk Management System (RMS) is a plus
-
CISSP or GIAC certifications preferred
-
Software development, test, or IV&V background is
a plus
-
Dynamic self-starter with strong problem-solving
and documentation skills
-
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
-
Must be a customer service-oriented team player
capable of handling changing priorities and multiple tasks
-
Must possess or be capable of obtaining Secret
Clearance
-
Six (6) or more years experience relevant to IT
security consulting and/or implementation
-
MS Degree preferred / BS Degree
