Cyber Security Analyst - MDA GMD Systems
Information Assurance
(IA)/Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) to support the
Missile Defense Agency and the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD)
Joint Program Office. Candidate will support GMD mission Information
Assurance Program (IAP/IAO) activities. Candidate must have experience
working Information Assurance Program Management including
-
Experience in a
program-level office with the ability to ensure coordinated and
effective implementation of the over-arching IA program
-
Build relationships with management and
remote sites to ensure they understand the IA program level
expectations
-
Background in customer relations as it
concerns to meeting organization objectives specifically in respect to
IA needs and goals
-
Implementation of
IA/Computer Network Defense (CND) Program Operations across the
Engineering and Acquisition Life Cycles
-
Establishment and
performance of IA/CND operations (e.g., IAVNs/INFOCON Reporting) for a
major weapon system.
-
Developing
alternative processes to manage change specific to the IA process
(e.g., Information Assurance Vulnerability Management)
-
Possess sufficient
technical understanding of network components and perimeter devices
and CND tools including HIDS, NIDS, and Authentication Servers
-
Supporting
continuation of current contracting actions, development of follow-on
contracting actions, and establishing effective mechanisms to monitor
performance of contracted actions
-
Ability to address
cyber threats to GMD Information Systems
Candidate must
possess the following skills

Active
SECRET security clearance. Ability
to obtain Top Secret security clearance needed

BS in Computer
Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
is required
-
CISSP, CISM, or
equivalent certification is required
-
Excellent
interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work in
a fast-paced technical staff environment
Ability to work with other government agencies and
government counterparts is critical
