 Computer
Network Defense (CND) Product Specialist
Candidate will serve as technical lead
for Sentar's Computer Network Defense (CND)
technology development activities. In-depth
knowledge of current cyber security
practices is required to include Senior Level
experience with intrusion detection
systems, attack sensors (network and host) and
software vulnerability guards.
Candidate will interface directly with customers
and with fellow colleagues serving as
the point of contact for cyber security.
Qualifications Include:
- 8+ years total experience in computer/information technology
field with some software development expertise
- 6+ years experience with wide area network (WAN) management,
administration, and/or consulting
- 3+ years experience with local area network (LAN) management,
administration, and/or consulting
- 5 years experience with IDSs, firewalls, vulnerability guards,
host level IDSs, and sniffer management, administration and/or
consulting
- 2+ years experience designs WANs
- 2 years software development experience; preferably in the network
driver or IDS-related areas
Preferred, but not required skills
include:
- Experience and/or credentials working Information Assurance (e.g.,
DoD 8500 standards) activities and implementations
- Software background
- Physical security experience
- Credentials in security information assurance (IA certifications,
papers written, councils, etc.)
