Sentar offers comprehensive information assurance and commercial software development services, military and aerospace contracting, advanced research and development and consulting services supporting process improvement (e.g., CMMI) and business process engineering.  Sentar’s innovative research and development emphasizes software agent technologies that protect network and host computer resources from cyber attackers and malicious insiders.

  Sentar has been profitable every year since its inception.  We continue to grow our
     software R&D and software solutions business having doubled in size between 2002 and
     2004.

Our company history

  Sentar was founded in 1990 by Mr. Peter Kiss with a focus on providing the highest
     quality software technology services possible.

  BDM, Sentar’s 1^st major customer - EVIV&V Program

  In early 1995, Sentar was awarded a research contract for “Fault Tolerant Cooperative
     Intelligent Agents” from Rome Labs.  This was the genesis for developing Sentar’s
     KnoWeb®.

  In 1995 Sentar developed and currently holds two patents related to advanced decision
     support and knowledge management system called KnowledgeWeb (KnoWeb®)

  Sentar established KnoWave Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, to use as the commercial
     licensing arm of Sentar developed technology

  In 2002 Sentar started the development of their KnoWeb-based advanced cyber security
     system. 

  Sentar formally became an employee owned company in 2004 with the establishment of
     the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)
